Yeehaw is a live video speed dating experience. We work hard to make it fun, safe, and worth your Wednesday night. These terms exist to be honest with you about how it works and what we're each responsible for. We're not a background check service. We can't guarantee anyone's behavior. Please use your judgment and stay safe — we're rooting for you.
By signing up for or participating in any Yeehaw event — including submitting our signup form, attending a session, or hosting an event — you agree to these Terms of Service in full, including our privacy practices and SMS communications policy.
Yeehaw is a matchmaking event platform founded in New York City. We host live video speed dating sessions and provide tools for community hosts to run their own events.
You must be 18 or older to participate in any Yeehaw event as an attendee or host. By signing up you confirm that you are. We reserve the right to remove anyone from a session or ban anyone from future sessions if we have reason to believe they are under 18 or have misrepresented their age.
We facilitate connections between people. We collect your preferences, match you thoughtfully with other participants, and run or support the event. We are not a dating app, a background check service, or a guarantee of anything beyond a genuinely good time.
Yeehaw provides its services on an "as is" basis and makes no warranties about the conduct, identity, intentions, legitimacy, or veracity of any participant. We cannot guarantee the number of matches you'll make, your compatibility with other participants, or outcomes of any connection made through our platform.
We make reasonable efforts to vet participants — reviewing applications, checking referrals, and building sessions from trusted networks. This is meaningful and we take it seriously.
Yeehaw does not conduct formal criminal background checks or identity verification on participants. We cannot guarantee the background, identity, or intentions of anyone you meet through our platform. You are responsible for your own safety and judgment.
Please use your own judgment. If something feels off, trust that feeling. If you choose to meet someone in person after a Yeehaw session, meet in a public place, tell a friend where you're going, and take the same precautions you would with anyone you've met online. We are rooting for you and we want you to be safe.
By participating in Yeehaw you agree to treat other participants with respect, be honest about who you are, and not harass, threaten, or harm anyone you meet through Yeehaw.

We reserve the right to remove anyone from a session or ban anyone from future sessions for behavior that violates these standards. We won't always get it right but we will always take it seriously.
Recording of any Yeehaw session — in whole or in part, by any means — without the explicit prior consent of all participants is strictly prohibited. This includes audio recordings, video recordings, screenshots, and any other method of capturing session content. Violation of this policy will result in immediate and permanent removal from Yeehaw.
If you host your own Yeehaw event using our tools and format, you take on responsibility for your event and your participants. You agree to apply the same care, vetting standards, and conduct expectations we apply to our own sessions.
Yeehaw provides the format, tools, and support — we are not present at or liable for independently hosted events. As a host you are responsible for the experience of your participants and for enforcing these standards within your community.
When you sign up we collect your name, contact information, age, gender, preferences, and optionally your Instagram handle. We use this information solely to match you with other participants and communicate with you about sessions.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes. If you want your data deleted, email us and we'll take care of it promptly.
Session content — including what participants say during video calls — is private and not recorded or stored by Yeehaw.
SMS Communications. By providing your phone number and participating in a Yeehaw session, you consent to receive text messages from us related to your session, including reminders, match notifications, and session updates. Message frequency varies — typically 2–4 messages per event. Message and data rates may apply. To opt out, reply STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP.
We will never share, sell, or use your mobile number for any purpose other than direct communication related to your Yeehaw session. Your phone number is not shared with other participants without your explicit consent.
Sessions are currently free while we're in beta. When we introduce paid sessions, all fees will be clearly communicated in advance before any charge is made. Sessions are non-refundable once attended unless we cancel the event, in which case a full refund will be provided.
Yeehaw is not liable for the actions of any participant before, during, or after a session. We are not responsible for what happens when two people who met through Yeehaw choose to meet in person or continue communicating outside of our platform. We provide a platform for connection — what you do with that connection is your own responsibility.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Yeehaw's liability for any claim arising out of your use of our platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days prior to the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
Yeehaw is not responsible for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your use of our platform or your interactions with other participants.
We may update these terms as Yeehaw grows. If we make significant changes we'll let you know by email with reasonable notice before the changes take effect. Continued participation after changes means you accept the updated terms. If you don't agree with the changes, you can stop participating and request deletion of your data.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.
